SMS messaging program · Last updated 30 August 2026

This policy covers the SMS messaging used by a personal errand-assistant application operated by Mahesh (“the application”). The application places phone calls on the operator’s behalf and reports the result by text message.

Who receives messages

The operator is the only recipient. The destination mobile number is set in the application’s own configuration and cannot be changed by anyone else. The application ignores inbound messages from any other number and does not reply to them. No message is ever sent to a consumer, a customer, or any other third party.

Information collected

The application stores the operator’s own mobile number, the text of messages exchanged with the operator, and records of the phone calls it places on the operator’s behalf. No information is collected from any other person.

Mobile information is not shared

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Mobile numbers and SMS consent are not sold, rented, leased, or otherwise disclosed. Message content is transmitted through the messaging carrier solely to deliver the message.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies and is entirely determined by the operator, who starts every conversation. In practice this is a small number of messages per day — typically fewer than ten, and often none. The application never initiates contact; every outbound message is a reply to a message the operator has just sent, or the reported result of an action the operator explicitly approved.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out

Reply STOP at any time to end all messages. Reply HELP for assistance. Messaging can also be ended by removing the number from the application’s configuration.

Data retention

Records are kept on infrastructure the operator controls, for as long as the application is in use, and are deleted when it is decommissioned.
